Davis Marketing Services is distributing three plastic model kits reproducing classics from the golden age of plastic modeling in the 1950s.  These ultra-accurate reproductions were made using the same molds used to create the originals.  The Atlantis UFO Flying Saucer (MSRP $20.75) is an exact replica of the 1954 Lindberg creation, the first all plastic science fiction model kit.  The 1/48th scale model measures over six inches in diameter and features a glow-in-the-dark alien pilot as well as multi-position display stand.

Few folks recall that not all the early UFOs took the saucer-like form that ultimately seized the public’s imagination.  The Atlantis TR-3E UFO Kit (MSRP $13.00) features a triangular UFO with a finely engraved hull and detailed landing gear.

But perhaps the jewel of this collection is the Atlantis Zorro Kit (MSRP $45.00).  Back for the first time in 40 years, this highly detailed model depicts Zorro and his rearing horse Tornado.  The 1/12th scale model is over ten inches tall and features a terrain base and nameplate.
