For the first time since June, a Scott Pilgrim volume was not the #1 adult fiction graphic novel title in bookstores in October, according to data compiled by Nielsen BookScan, although “the little graphic novel series that could” still accounted for six of the top eight titles.

Odd Is on Our Side, the latest Dean Koontz adaptation from Del Rey, made an appearance in the Top 10 and was the only other title to beat a Scott Pilgrim volume.
Hetalia Axis Powers Vol. 1, the new hit from Tokyopop, hung in at #13.
Surprisingly, only one Walking Dead title (Volume 1) made the Top 20, and it was at #14, below where the top Walking Dead volume fell in September.
