Spectre Toys has released a line of Dark Shadows figures, based on the TV series.  The retro 8” figures are sculpted and clothed in the 70s MEGO style.  Packaging features artwork from original MEGO artist Harol Schull. 

The first two releases in the line, Vampire Barnabas Collins and Witch Angelique Bouchard, are both highly articulated and include clothing made of real cloth.  The Barnabas figure includes a wolf’s head cane; the Angelique figure includes a necklace.  A convention exclusive of Werewolf Chris Jennings was also produced.  MSRP for all three is $19.99. 

The action figures join the Hermes comic collections as among the few Dark Shadows licensed products available now, as the new Tim Burton movie starring Johnny Depp goes

into production (see “Johnny Depp in Dark Shadows”).
