It's only available in Japan right now, but who knows, if Gundam-mania continues to grow here in the States (see 'G Gundam Tops Anime Ratings'), we may be seeing it here before too long.  Bandai, the Japanese anime and toy powerhouse responsible for both the numerous Gundam anime titles and the plethora of Gundam toys and model kits, is releasing a motorcycle helmet that is a replica of that used by the extremely popular Gundam character, Char Aznable.  Char, who leads the rebel forces of Neo-Zeon against the corrupt Earth Federation in the recently released (in the U.S. of course, not Japan, where it was made in the 1980s) Gundam battlefest, Char's Counterattack, is a complex and fascinating character, who remains one of the most popular figures in the entire Gundam saga.

The coolest aspect of the Gundam motorcycle helmet is the fact that it not only functions as a modern, high-tech head protector, but that it looks exactly like the helmets worn by the pilots of those powerful mobile suits.
