Another performer in the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has been injured in a performance, according to the New York Times. T.V. Carpio, who played Arachne, the spider character created for the musical, sustained an injury on March 17th and will be out of the show for the next two weeks.

This is the fifth injury to a performer in the Spider-man musical. Carpio was actually understudy to Natalie Mendoza, who left the show after an injury in December (see “Critics Savage Spider-Man Musical Prematurely”).

Director Julie Taymor recently left the show (see “Taymor Out as Spider-Man Director”), which is still in previews, and may shut down for a time for retooling.
