Avatar Press titles will be distributed to the book trade by BOOM! Studios.  BOOM! will route Avatar titles through its existing relationships with Simon & Schuster in the U.S. and HarperCollins Canada. 

 

BOOM! CEO Ross Richie said that Avatar titles don’t cannibalize sales on BOOM! books and noted Avatar’s “great growth potential in the mass market book trade.”

 

The new deal took effect March 21st.
