Development of the feature film based on the comic I, Frankenstein (see “I, Frankenstein Headed to Screen”) has moved into high gear with the hiring of Stuart Beattie to write and direct, according to Hollywood Reporter. Beattie has co-written a number of genre features, including G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and 30 Days of Night.

 

Shooting is expected to begin this fall.
