In September Fantasy Flight Games will release Elder Sign (MSRP $34.95), a fast-paced and atmospheric cooperative card game that evokes all the suspense and underlying horror of the world created by H.P. Lovecraft.  Designed by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson, the duo responsible for FFG’s award-winning Arkham Horror board game, Elder Sign uses an innovative and thematic dice mechanic to drive a cooperative game of card drafting and hand management that can be played by from 1 to 8 players (13 and up) in under two hours.

Players are members of a team of investigators searching through the museum’s extensive collections of curios and occult artifacts in order to locate the eldritch symbols needed to seal the portals that will stave off the imminent return of the Ancient One.  Players have to put their stamina and their sanity to the test as they battle against time to seal away the Ancient One and win the game.

The deluxe Elder Sign box includes: 1 cardboard clock, 8 customized dice, 1 entrance reference sheet, 80 oversize cards, 76 small cards, and 144 cardboard tokens and markers.
