We recently attended the Bucheon International Comics Festival (see "Bicof Showcases Manhwa"). We present our photos in two parts, Part 1 and Part 2.

The Smartoon Cube, a special display area at the Festival offering nteractive displays around the topic of comics as a digital medium. At the Bucheon Media and Culture Complex.
Displays greeted visitors.
Costumed characters drew a crowd.
Elevator wraps—not just for Comic-Con.
We face the red carpet leading to the Opening Ceremonies, which as a Guest of the Festival, we walked along with more illustrious celebrities.
Attending dignitaries watched a performance at the opening ceremonies that combined traditional dancers and a hip hop dance crew, all in front of a giant screen on which was projected close-ups of the performers.
The MCs of the Bicof Opening Ceremonies introduce a performance.
Festival Chairman Jae-Dong Park rocked out on stage as the show opened.
A three-man pop act, with dancers, revved up the crowd.
But the headliner was the one who really got the crowd excited.
…singing along with his hit, photographing him, and cheering wildly.
