Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the October 4th release of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Legendary Collection 2: The Duel Academy Years (MSRP $29.99), a deluxe binder that includes 58 cards, 45 of which are included in five 9-card booster packs, which include cards chosen from 266 of most popular cards released during the YGO GX era.  Each of the packs includes one Secret Rare, one Ultra Rare, One Super Rare, and one Rare card plus five common cards.

 

But the real big news the Konami revealed today concerns the 13 extra special Ultra Rare cards that are included in every Legendary Collections 2: the Duel Academy binder.  Seven new Ultra Rare GX cards are included in every binder and cannot be found anywhere else.  They include “Cyber Larva,” “Lion Alligator,” “Spawn Alligator,” “Elemental HERO Great Tornado,” “Parallel World Fusion,” “Dragonic Tactics,” and “Court of Justice.”  These cards can power up all sorts of decks including Dragons, Fairies, Reptiles, and of course Elemental HERO decks.

 

But even more buzzworthy is the news that all three Sacred Beast cards: “Uria, Lord of the Searing Flames,” “Hamon: Lord of the Striking Thunder,” and “Raviel, Lord of the Phantasms” will be included and featured in the front window of the binder.  Also included in the set are three fabled Darkloid monsters, previously only available as championship-level prizes, “Darklord Asmodeus,” “Darklord Superbia,” and “Darklord Edeh Arae.”

So each Legendary Collection 2: Duel Academy binder includes 58 cards, 28 of which are guranteed to be foil cards.
