'Locke & Key' Card Game

Cryptozoic will launch a card game based on the IDW comic series Locke & Key, by bestselling author Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, in 2012. The game, for three to six players, will include 150 strength cards, 19 challenge cards, 15 key cards, a 3D stand-up initiative marker and a rulebook. The key cards are based on the keys in the comic series, and will allow players to unlock new strategies in the game.
The series has also spawned the pilot for a TV series from Fox (see “’Locke & Key’ Trailer”), which despite Fox’s turndown is still being shown at cons and may yet spawn a series.
