New game publisher Guillotine Games has announced its first title: Zombicide, a miniatures-heavy cooperative boardgame set in a zombie apocalypse.  The new game will be shown at next spring’s Gama Trade Show, and is scheduled to release at Gen Con in August.

Two to six players assume the role of “survivors” who must work together to survive growing hordes of zombies.  The game will include 10 pre-designed scenarios, or players can build their own using modular map tiles.

Zombicide will include 71 miniatures, a modular playing board, dice and cards. It will be distributed in the U.S. through CoolMiniOrNot.

Guillotine Games was founded by former employees of Rackham Entertainment.
