Dark Horse Comics has announced that it will release new comics digitally on the same day as print, beginning December 14, 2011.  Dark Horse joins DC, Marvel, Image, Archie, and other comic companies that have already made the transition to digital day and date or are in the process of doing so.
Dark Horse also announced that it would add the Joss Whedon titles, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dollhouse, and Angel to its digital offerings in November; those titles had previously only been available in print.  That rounds out the content offerings for Dark Horse Digital, which with additions since the store launched earlier this year, includes work by Frank Miller and Mike Mignola, plus Star Wars and other licensed titles, and now the Whedon material, in addition to many other titles.
