Comic Book Legal Defense Fund has named Alex Cox as its Deputy Director.  In that new role, Cox will have full oversight of the home office and fundraising program.  He joined the Fund in October of 2010 as Development Manager (see “Alex Cox Joins CBLDF”). 

During Cox’s time as Development Manager, individual and retailer memberships have both shown dramatic increases; the Fund’s volunteer program has expanded; and the Fund’s convention presence has improved.  Prior to joining CBLDF, Cox owned and managed the well-known comic store Rocketship in Brooklyn.
