DC Churns Six Titles
From New 52

The six new titles are:
Batman Incorporated, by Grant Morrison and Chris Burnham.
Earth 2, by James Robinson and Nicola Scott, in which the Justice Society appears.
Worlds’ Finest, by Paul Levitz, with George Perez and Kevin Maguire, in which Huntress and Power Girl struggle to find their way back to Earth 2. The two artists will work on alternating story arcs.
G.I. Combat, with the lead “War that Time Forgot” feature by J.T. Krul and Ariel Olivetti, with rotating backup features including “Unknown Soldier,” written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti, with art by Dan Panosian; and “Haunted Tank,” by John Arcudi and Scott Kolins.
The Ravagers, by Howard Mackie and Ian Churchill, which spins off from Teen Titans and Superboy.
The changes appear to indicate a desire, at least at first, to keep the title roster stable by adding as many titles as are canceled, which makes sense given the amount of marketing effort that’s been put into promoting “New 52” as a brand. During the initial Retailers Road shows, DC had indicated that New 52 titles would get a minimum of six issues to prove themselves, but DC EVP John Rood said last week that cancellations were coming (see “DC Ups Two Batbooks to $3.99”). This batch of six titles, canceled eight months after launch, is the first group of cancellations from the New 52 titles.
