Major new product announcements are planned for the GAMA Trade Show, the game industry event for retailers, which will be held at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas March 17th through March 20th.  WizKids plans to show retailers two new games that are currently under wraps at the show, as well as its 2003 plans for Mage Knight, HeroClix, and MechWarrior.   Wizards of the Coast is hosting two meal events:  one will be devoted to all but one of its releases for the year, and the other will focus on its revised third edition of Dungeons and Dragons (see 'Wizards of the Coast Goes Beyond 3rd Edition').

WizKids will be giving away some major schwag at the event.  At its WizKids venue feedback session on Monday, each store will receive a MechWarrior Dropship, the biggest WizKids figure ever (four Mechs fit inside), along with four limited edition Mechwarrior Mechs inside.  At its dinner on Tuesday, WizKids will be giving each retailer a beta version of one of the new top secret games.  And retailers visiting the WizKids booth will also get a giveaway from one of the new, yet-to-be-announced games.

The sponsored meal events have also been finalized:

Monday Dinner -- Wizards of the Coast talks about its 2003 product line.

Tuesday Brunch -- Koplow Games, Sabertooth, Games Workshop, and Inquest Gamer.

Tuesday Dinner -- Alliance Games Distributors, Diamond Comic Distributors, and WizKids.

Wednesday Brunch -- Decipher

Wednesday Dinner -- Alderac Entertainment Group and friends

Thursday Brunch -- Wizards of the Coast on D&D 3.5
