Cryptozoic Entertainment has revealed the titles and approximate release dates for six games based on the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies.  Cryptozoic first revealed the license at the recent New York Toy Fair (see “Crypto Has ‘The Hobbit’” for the announcement and a rundown of other Lord of the Rings and Hobbit-based games). 
 

The Lord of the Rings Deck-building Game is scheduled to release in Fall 2012, before the first Hobbit film is released in theaters.

 

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Deck-Building Game is planned for a Christmas 2012 release.

 

The Hobbit Expandable Trading Card Game is also scheduled for Christmas this year.

 

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game is expected to release in Spring 2013.

 

The Hobbit: There and Back Again Board Game will street in Winter 2013, along with…

 

The Hobbit: There and Back Again Deck-Building Game, which will also release in Winter 2013 to correspond with the release of the second Hobbit film.
