Spoiler Alert--Marvel Studios has released a new Avengers poster spotlighting S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson just in time for actor Clark Gregg's 50th birthday.  Meanwhile tie-in commericials for Joss Whedon's Avengers, which opens on May 4th, have begun to appear including two Honda TV spots for 2013 Acura RDX, which is the "official vehicle" for the film.  The first spot gets some laughs as a couple pilots the RDX through one of the movie's urban battlegrounds with the car's computer voicing directional hints that allow the shiny vehicle to avoid the general mayhem on the set--and at the very end provides the best look yet at the "Leviathan" robot that figures to be one of the film's major menaces.

The other commercial features a group of pint-sized Avengers played by incredibly photogenic kids that's worth checking out just for the sheer cuteness of it all.  With Whedon’s The Avengers opening now just a month away and Marvel Studios sensing that they have a major blockbuster on their hands, the release of promotional materials has been steadily building to a crescendo (see "Avengers 'We Are At War' Spot" & "New 'Avengers' Spot").
