Warner Home Video will release Green Lantern: The Animated Series—Rise of the Red Lanterns (Season 1 Part 1) on August 28th.  The DVD set will include the first 13 episodes of the CG-animated series plus a four page preview of the Green Lantern Animated Series comic, on a two disc set. 

The series, which was teased last year with a special showing in September (see "Animated 'Green Lantern'"), is part of the DC Nation programming block on Cartoon Network no Saturday mornings (see "DC Nation Programming Block Set").
