NECA will launch a line of merchandise based on All-Winners Squad, a team of offbeat Marvel characters assembled for the purpose, Marvel announced on Friday.  Only two characters for the team have been announced so far: Squirrel Girl (created by Will Murray and Steve Ditko in 1992) and Doop (created by Peter Milligan and Mike Allred). 

NECA’s merchandise line will include toys, apparel and collectibles, according to the announcement. 

Although Marvel ancestor Timely introduced a team by the same name in the early 40s in All Winners Comics and it appeared occasionally since, this new team appears to have nothing to do with the earlier incarnations.
