Humanoids will release The Metabarons Ultimate Collection (HC, 544 pgs., $59.95) with a brand-new foreword by Matt Fraction (Uncanny X-Men), on October 9th.  Collecting The Metabarons trade paperbacks #s 1-4, along with two bonus stories, the book has the same content (plus the foreword) as the previously released deluxe slipcase edition, but is in a smaller format with a cheaper price.

Written by creator Alejandro Jodorowsky and illustrated by Argentinian artist Juan Gimenez, The Metabarons is a multi-generational tale chronicling the adventures of a dynasty of cyborg warriors.

Also releasing October 9th, Through the Walls (HC, 96 pgs., $29.95) is a series of "droll vignettes of everyday French life," but with a twist: each story features one or more characters who can walk through walls (or other objects).  Written by Jean-Luc Cornette with line art and color by Stephane Oiry, this book, marking the English language debut of the property, is the equivalent of the original two French albums.
