The third game in the popular first-person shooter series (after 2007’s BioShock and 2010’s BioShock 2), BioShock Infinite for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is set for release February 26. Shortly thereafter--March 12th, to be exact--Dark Horse will follow with The Art of Bioshock Infinite ($39.99), a deluxe hardcover tie-in book introduced by BioShock Infinite Creative Director Ken Levine.

At 184 pages, The Art of BioShock Infinite lets fans delve deeper into the retro-future city of Columbia, a floating metropolis torn by war, but nevertheless thriving as a "beacon of technology and achievement for the early 1900s."  The book features production designs and concept illustrations focusing on main BioShock Infinite characters Booker DeWitt, Elizabeth, and Songbird.

In addition, fans can get a closer look at the game’s airships, vigors, citizens of Columbia, and more, including the evolution of the Heavy Hitters.
