Gary Games has announced the November 5th launch date for the latest addition to its popular deck-building game Ascension.  The new release Ascension: Immortal Heroes (MSRP $29.99) is the second supplement to the full size expansion Ascension: Storm of Souls, which was released in January of 2012. 

 

As the second set in the Ascension: Storm of Souls series, Ascension: Immortal Heroes completes the second year story arc in the Ascension universe.  It was designed to be played primarily with Ascension: Storm of Souls, but it can effortlessly synch with all Ascension releases and can also be played on its own. 

 

With Ascension: Immortal Heroes players will be able to obtain the all-new "Soul Gem" cards in an attempt to stop Kythis’ evil plans to enslave the souls of heroes from the first war.  Players will find plenty of heroes from year one, plus an entirely new set of monsters, heroes, and constructs.
