Lost producer Carlton Cuse and screenwriter Ryan Condal are set to adapt Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt’s The Sixth Gun for NBC.  The Oni Press title is a fantasy western about six guns with mystical powers.  The project had originally been optioned by the Syfy Network (see "Syfy Options 'The Sixth Gun'") for a six-issue TV miniseries.

 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Condal will write the script for the pilot with Cuse acting as an executive producer.  Bunn and Hurtt’s previous comic series for Oni, The Damned is in development at the cable network Showtime (see "Showtime Gets 'The Damned'").
