'TWD' #1 Tops $10,000

A CGC-graded 9.9 copy of The Walking Dead #1 has sold for $10,100 in an eBay auction ended Wednesday. The comic is nine years old. It was released in October of 2003, and sold around 7,200 copies to North American stores through Diamond Comic Distributors (see "Top 300 Comics Actual==October 2003").
The audience has grown; the first episode of Season 3 was seen by 10.9 million people (see "'The Walking Dead' Season 3 Premiere Sets Records").
