The character Tyreese will join The Walking Dead AMC series soon, played by Chad Coleman (The Wire, Green Hornet), according to TVOvermind.  This brings a character introduced in issue seven of the comics to the TV series.  Tyreese will be introduced in the midseason finale, according to Hollywood Reporter. 

Coleman played Dennis "Cutty" Wise in The Wire, a former criminal who runs a boxing gym for local kids.
