The shooting of All You Need Is Kill is proceeding in London in dramatic fashion: Tom Cruise dropped into Trafalgar Square in a helicopter on Sunday, according to Hollywood Reporter. The film, based on the Viz light novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, has regained the title of the book since Cruise’s participation was announced a year ago (see "Tom Cruise to Star in Light Novel Adaptation"), a positive development for selling the book when the movie comes out.
The film is being directed by Doug Liman (Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith) and co-stars Emily Blunt and Bill Paxton. It will open March 14, 2014.
