Dennis Haybert, the president of 24, is in talks to play the role of Manute in Sin City 2, based on the A Dame to Kill For graphic novel, according to Hollywood Reporter. The role was played by the recently deceased Michael Clarke Duncan in the first Sin City film.
The sequel, directed by Robert Rodriguez, started shooting last month (see "At Last--'Sin City 2' Starts Filming in November"), but is now on a short hiatus before intermittent shooting later this month and a full schedule in January, according to the report.
Duncan joins a cast of new and returning stars, which includes Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Jaime King, and Rosario Dawson (see "Actresses Added to 'Sin City 2'").
