The Dark Knight Rises is back on top, this time in home video. It’s at the top of both the combined disc and Blu-ray charts for the week ended December 9th, according to Home Media. And the trilogy of all three Christopher Nolan Dark Knight films (see “Three ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ BD Packages”) debuted at #2.
Blockbuster movies have a second round of influence on graphic novel and merchandise sales when the home video is released, and the performance of The Dark Knight Rises is enough to move that dial in a significant way.
