Global Asylum has changed the name of its Hobbit mockbuster from Age of the Hobbits to Clash of Empires, in the wake of the court order blocking release of the film (see "Court Blocks Release of Hobbit Mockbuster").  Although the company changed the title of the film on its Website, Warners shows no signs of stopping its suit, and the temporary restraining order issued by the court remains in effect.

Global Asylum is no stranger to this type of litigation; it was sued by Universal over its film American Battleship.
