Viz Media to Create 'Hello Kitty' Graphic Novels
Single-Volume Comic Will Debut at San Diego

Viz Media has announced an agreement with Hello Kitty rights owner Sanrio that will enable Viz to publish wordless Hello Kitty graphic novels under its Viz Kids imprint. A special single-volume comic featuring a limited edition Hello Kitty design will be released at Comic-Con in July with a Comic-Con exclusive cover by Eisner Award-winner Jacob Chabot and additional art by Victoria Maderna, Ian McGinty, and Chabot.
The main Hello Kitty graphic novel line will debut in the fall of 2013 with Here We Go!, a collection of comic stories about Hello Kitty’s travels
