Fournier Gets ComicsPRO Award
Will Eisner Gets Memorial Award

Diamond Comic Distributors Vice President of Operations Cindy Fournier received the ComicsPRO industry Appreciation Award at last weekend’s ComicsPRO Annual Member’s Meeting. Fournier manages Diamond’s logistics operations, including its warehousing and transportation functions.
The award is given annually to "those who help behind the scenes of the comic book direct market." Last year’s recipient was DC Comics SVP Sales Bob Wayne (see "Bob Wayne Wins 2012 Comics Industry Appreciation Award").
ComicsPro also awards an Industry Appreciation Memorial Award annually; this year’s recipient was legendary comic creator Will Eisner. Eisner also founded the Spirit of Comics Award, which goes to a retailer each year. Last year’s recipient was direct market founder Phil Seuling.
