Japanime Games and the French company Ankama Games is proud to announce the June release of its Kickstarter-funded Krosmaster: Arena, a player-versus-player, tactical, anime style miniatures game.  The game will first be distributed to those who backed it on Kickstarter, but will be released to the trade in June of 2013.
 

 

Krosmaster: Arena (MSRP $80.00) is a fast-paced tabletop miniatures game. The base box set includes a double-sided game board, 8 pre-painted character figures with corresponding cards, all the required tokens, 8 custom dice, and a 32-page rulebook.  Eight Krosmaster: Arena Expansion Packs (MSRP $28.00) with four figures each are slated for 2013 release with more products on the horizon for 2014.

 

The Krosmaster: Arena game initiative was launched on Kickstarter on March 14th and made it to its first $50,000 goal in fewer than 24 hours.  As of yesterday 265 backers had pledged over $70,000 in the campaign that will run until May 1st, 2013.
