Right on schedule, Game of Thrones has been renewed for a fourth season, HBO announced Tuesday.  The series was renewed for a third season a year ago at the same point in its season (after the premiere, see "'It's Official: 'Game of Thrones' Renewed"). 

The show has been setting records, both in legal (see "'Dead,' 'Thrones' Set Records") and illegal (see "'Game of Thrones' Breaks BitTorrent Swarm Record") channels.
