The CW’s Arrow, the TV series based on DC Comics’ Green Arrow, is adding yet another DC Comics character to its cast in Season 2. Just a month after announcing that newcomer Caity Lotz will play the Black Canary comes word that actress Bex Taylor-Klaus will join the cast of Arrow in Season 2 playing Sin. Taylor-Klaus is best known for her work on AMC’s version of The Killing.
Created by Gail Simone and Paulo Siqueira Sin first appeared in Birds of Prey #92 in 2006. The youthful character was trained to be the next Lady Shiva, but was rescued and trained by the Black Canary. It appears that the TV incarnation of Sin will also have ties to Black Canary. According to TV Line, Sin, who will appear in the third and fourth episodes of Season 2, is “a wayward youth” who is befriended by the Black Canary.
Of course the biggest DC Comics guest star in Arrow during Season 2 will be The Flash, who will appear in episodes 8, 9, and 20. The Barry Allen Flash will have his origin story told in those episodes before getting spun off into his own The Flash series, which with any luck, will air on the CW Network during the 2015-2016 season (see "Flash Origin in 'Arrow'").
