The first extended TV spot for Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World doesn’t contain much new footage, but it does make a pretty good case for the second Thor film from Marvel Studios that will be released October 30th in most of the world before going nationwide here in the U.S. on November 8th.
With the opening drawing ever closer the pace of publicity for the second Marvel Studios film of the year is ramping up with the release of new posters and the first clear look at the film’s primary villain Malekith the Accursed (see "New 'Thor' Posters, First Clear Look at Malekith") as well as a featurette that examines the off-world settings of the Thor sequel (see "'Thor: The Dark World' Featurette").
