20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s Mr. Peabody & Sherman, which will open in theaters March 7th.
Directed by Rob Minkoff, the movie features the voice talents of Ty Burrell (Phil from Modern Family) as Mr. Peabody, Max Charles as Sherman, and Stephen Colbert as his nemesis, Paul Peterson (though you’ll have to take that on faith, since he doesn’t speak in the trailer).
IDW acquired the rights this spring to publish comics based on Jay Ward’s characters, including Rocky and Bullwinkle as well as Mr. Peabody & Sherman (see "IDW Gets 'Rocky and Bullwinkle'"). The first issue of a four part Mr. Peabody & Sherman mini-series written by Sholly Fisch (All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold) with art by Jorge Monlogo will arrive in November.
