The popular Origin Award nominated Love Letter card game is getting the L5R treatment for 2014, when Alderac Entertainment Group releases Love Letter: Legend of the Five Rings in February.
Designer Seiji Kanai’s simple and elegant 16-card game will be made over for the Emerald Empire, with Imperial princess Iweko Miaka playing the potential object of affection for suitors among the samurai clans. Featuring art by Andrew Hepworth, the new version will include 16 game cards, 4 reference cards, 13 tokens of affection, and a green velvet bag with Love Letter and L5R Rings in gold. The game is for 2 – 4 players and plays in about 20 minutes. MSRP is set at $10.99.
