Last night’s extended infomercial for Marvel Studios, Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe spent too much time rehashing the company’s meteoric rise to its current position near the top of the Hollywood heap, but it also included some interesting footage from the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier as well as some very interesting concept art highlighting Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, two “new” characters who will be added to the mix in Avengers: Age of Ulton.
While they were shown in the form of animated concept art rather than in actual footage (principal photography has not yet started on Avengers: Age of Ultron), the concept art gave fans a look at the costumes that Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) and Aaron Johnson (Quicksilver) will be wearing.
The other big Age of Ultron concept art revelation was the Hulkbuster Iron Man armor, which looks like it was pulled right off the comic book page. But the concept sketch also brings up the question--why exactly are Iron Man and the Hulk going at it? Is this some sort of a macho-bred scuffle among friends, or something way more serious?
