Green Ronin Publishing has announced three upcoming releases: the Freeport: The City of Adventure for the Pathfinder RPG, the Love 2 Hate party card game, and a new edition of Steve Kenson’s Icons Superpowered Roleplaying game co-published with Ad Infinitum Adventures.
Freeport: The City of Adventure for the Pathfinder RPG, a 512-page full-color hardcover, will release in May. Funded by Kickstarter at $73,471 last year, the massive book will feature the classic mixed-genre Freeport RPG setting updated with full Pathfinder rules support and a new, full-length adventure. The book is written by James Bell, Patrick O’Duffy, Chris Pramas, Robert J. Schwalb, Todd Secord, Owen K.C. Stephens, and Christina Stiles; with cover art by Wayne Reynolds. MSRP is $74.95.
The Love 2 Hate card game is designed by Colm Lundberg. The party game involves finishing sentences and using (poor) judgment. The judge in each round picks a starter card with nouns (lawyers, clowns, hippies, geeks, dinosaurs) and they start the sentence with "I love the way..." or "I hate the way..." and players compete to find a card in their hand that finishes the sentence. The judge awards the starter card to the player whose answer they judge to be the best. The player who collects enough starter cards first, wins. The game is planned for summer release. MSRP is $29.95.
The Icons Superpowered Roleplaying: The Assembled Edition is a joint venture between Green Ronin and game designer Steve Kenson’s Ad Infinitum Adventures. The game has previously been published by Cubicle 7 (see "New Superhero RPG")". The new hardcover release will include up-to-date information from Greater Power (the expanded powers book), material like pyramid tests, and supplemental rules from Villainomicon and Team-Up. The book will include updated art and graphic design from Daniel Solis and Dan Houser. The book is planned for summer release.
