Paizo has announced the Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Technology Guide for its Pathfinder RPG, releasing in August.
This resource is the setting for Pathfinder’s upcoming Iron Gods Adventure Path, which will be set in the land of Numeria, where a futuristic starship fragmented over the land thousands of years ago, scattering alien technology across the landscape. The 64-page paperback is full of rules for adding alien and futuristic elements to the fantasy game setting.
Highlights include lists of technological weapons, armor, and pharmaceuticals; rules for crafting technological items, using cybernetic implants, and dealing with artificial intelligence; new skills to interact with technology, like translating computer code and disarming electronic devices; a new technomancer prestige class; and new archetypes to allow existing characters to specialize in using or combating technology.
