The schedule for Sony’s Spider-Man spin-off movies Sinister Six and Venom continues to develop, with new info on how they will fall from producer Matt Tolmach at Den of Geek.  Tolmach said that both spin-offs will be released before The Amazing Spider-Man 4.  "Before we know what we do with Spider-Man 4, we're going to do Sinister Six, Venom and Spider-Man 3," he said.  "There is going to be a lot of crossover in those movies.  So we're just not at Spider-Man 4, because we still have a whole other Spider-Man movie and two other movies."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will set up Sinister Six, and will debut May 2, 2014 (see "'Spidey 2' to Set Up ‘Sinister Six'").

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is set for June 10, 2016, with Marc Webb directing (see "'Amazing Spider-Man 3' Gets Director").

Then the spin-off movies will be released; Drew Goddard is set to direct Sinister Six (see "'Sinister Six' Gets Director").  Sony has had May 4, 2018 reserved for a Spider-Man movie (see "Best in Shows--Q2 2018"), but that slot may now be used for one of the spin-off movies

It’s not yet been revealed whether or not Spider-Man will appear in the spin-offs, although they would appear to be a tough sell without the hero.  Tolmach explicitly refused to reveal whether the wallcrawler will appear in either movie in an interview with IGN.
