The first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer (see "First 'TMNT' Trailer") had a rather glaring omission of a main character in the notable absence of the turtles’ venerable sensei, Master Splinter. Ardent fans’ concerns weren’t exactly allayed when the announcement came that Tony Shalhoub, TV’s Monk, would be doing vocal work for the mutated rat ninjutsu master (see "Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub in 'TMNT'").
In this TV spot posted over the weekend, at 0:12, we finally see at least the back of the sword-wielding sensei, along with the voiceover, "You live, you die, you fight as brothers," and "Remember, nothing is as strong as family."
