Much like the popular Love Letter, Alderac Entertainment has announced plans to release several versions of Seiji Kanai’s Lost Legacy card game in 2014.

Lost Legacy, designed by Kanai (Love Letter) and Hayato Kisaragi (Grimoire), is a card game of risk, deduction and luck.  Players start with one card in hand, and then draw and/or play cards from the 16 card deck, until the cards run out.  Then the investigation stage starts, with players trying to determine who has the "Lost Legacy" card.  The player with the highest point total at the end wins.

The game is for 2 - 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 10 minutes.  Multiple decks (minus the extra "Lost Legacy" card) can be combined to make the game playable for up to 6 players.  All decks can be mixed to create custom sets.  The box comes with 16 game cards, 4 reference cards, a bag and a rulebook.  All three versions will have an MSRP of $9.99.

The original Lost Legacy game is available in North America from One Draw.  Alderac will release Lost Legacy: The Starship in July, with Lost Legacy: Flying Garden following in summer.  Lost Legacy: Whitegold Spire is planned for fall release.
