The Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA) has announced plans for this year’s "Origins Trade Day" at the 2014 Origins Game Fair.  The 4th Annual Trade Day will be held the second day of the fair, Thursday, June 12th.  The Origins Game Fair runs from the June 11 - 15 in Columbus, Ohio.
 
The Trade Day gives retailers and manufacturers an opportunity to connect and exchange information about new releases and trends in the hobby game industry.   Trade Day is free to all GAMA members (two members per store) and each store that attends the sponsored presentations will receive an appreciation package of new product valued at over $300.
 
In addition to hosting morning coffee and donuts and lunch, the GAMA Retail Board will present afternoon Retailer Educational Seminars on the following topics: How to Sell Board Games, Inventory Management, Alternative use of Demos, Organized Play, Finance & Revenue, and Staffing.
 
In the evening, the sponsored presentations, which will run from 6 -8 pm will be hosted by Wizkids, Star City Games, Paizo Publishing and Cryptozoic Entertainment.  Retailer Appreciation Packages will be handed out after the conclusion of the presentations.
 
The Retail Lounge will be open from Thursday through Sunday morning.
