CoolMiniOrNot’s Zombicide Season 3 Kickstarter has received more than $850,000 in pledges from more than 5,500 backers ($155.28/backer average) in a little over four days.  It seems well positioned to top $1 million in pledges before the end of day five.

Details about Zombicide Season Three: Rue Morgue and the Angry Neighbors expansion, which are the main game releases for this Kickstarter, were announced previously (see "Upcoming 'Zombicide' Products"), but now game components and MSRPs have been announced as well.

Zombicide Season 3: Rue Morgue contains 80 zombie miniatures, 12 survivor miniatures with ID cards, 9 double sided game tiles, 155 cards (86 equipment cards, 48 zombie cards, 9 team cards, 12 wounded cards), 92 tokens (doors, event triggers, helicopter, noise, objectives, stairs, zombie spawns, skill counters), dice, experience trackers, tent cards, and a rulebook.  The game is self-contained, but can be added to any existing Zombicide release as well.  The game is for 1 – 12 players, ages 13 and up.  MSRP is $100.00.

The Zombicide Angry Neighbors expansion includes 18 seeker zombie miniatures, 4 survivor miniatures with ID cards, 4 zombivor miniatures, 8 companion miniatures (4 types, 2 each), 3 double sided tiles, 63 cards (27 equipment cards, 12 zombie cards, 8 companion cards, 16 wounded cards), 27 tokens (barricades, companion makers, helicopter, more), experience trackers, and a rulebook.  The expansion is compatible with Zombicide base games, but does require at least one stand-alone title to play.  MSRP is $60.00.

Backer fulfillment for both releases is tentatively set for February 2015.  CoolMiniOrNot has not set a date for trade release.

There is little doubt Zombicide: Season 3 will make the Top 10 Tabletop Game Kickstarter list, though it now takes more than $1.2 million to unseat #10 (see "Top 10 Tabletop Game Kickstarters").  Will it beat out Zombicide: Season 2 which earned more than $2.2 million?  With 25 days to go, it seems possible.
