Magnetic Press will release Meka, a 96-page hardcover collection of the two volume series by J.D. Morvan and Bengal, in August ($19.99). After creating Meka, Morvan and Bengal went on to create several other properties, including Sillage, Naja, and Bien du Mal.
The story centers on two mecha (or in this case, Meka) pilots who struggle to survive in a war zone of ruin and destruction.
Magnetic is a new publisher formed late last year by former Archaia and BOOM! executives (see "Archaia, BOOM! Vets Form New Publisher"). The company is releasing Naja and Zaya (see "Preview: 'Zaya' HC") this month.
