IDW Games will release Diamonsters, a fast-paced monster collecting card game by the designer and artist of Machi Koro, on November 15th.
Designed by Masao Suganuma and artist Noboru Hotta, and similar in theme to Machi Koro, Diamonsters is a set collection game. Each player starts out with an identical hand of cards, with the goal being to collect three of the same type of monster or five diamonds to win. But some monsters are more valuable than others, and some of them will eat the diamonds!
The game is for 2-6 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in 20 minutes. MSRP is $14.99.
IDW Games is including a preview copy of the game in its Machi Koro: Harbor Expansion Event Kit, which will be available in September (see "'Machi Koro: Harbor Expansion' Event Kit").
