Marvel Comics has announced a different sort of variant cover for Ant-Man #1, the new on-going series written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Ramon Rosanas that is slated to go on sale on January 7, 2015. The first ever "Shrinking Variant" for Ant-Man #1 features a cover by Ed McGuinness, and each "Shrinking Variant" will feature an Ant-Man figure of a different size. Marvel promises that no two of the individually-numbered "Shrinking Variants" will be identical as every cover will feature a different size Ant-Man reflecting the character’s ability to shrink.
Marvel is advising retailers interested in ordering the Ant-Man #1 Shrinking Variant to check upcoming stories in Diamond Daily (and on Marvel.com) for details on ordering the Ed McGuinness Ant-Man #1 Shrinking Variant.
