Dannon, TV Ads Promote Creepy Freaks

To Young Audience

WizKids has inked a deal with The Dannon Company, Inc. to promote WizKids' new Creepy Freaks Collectibles Miniatures Game. Creepy Freaks, which is targeted at a younger audience than WizKids' HeroClix or Mage Knight CMGs, launches nationwide in late September (see 'WizKids Announces Kids Gross-Out Game').  During the months of September and October, Dannon will produce some 2.85 million specially marked packages of Dannon Sprinkl'ins, each of which will include a free sticker featuring the gross-out characters from Creepy Freaks such as 'Frosty the Snotman,' 'Worm Breath,' and 'Skelehomie.' The promotion makes a lot of sense because Sprinkl'ins come with special spooky-shaped toppings and garish Halloween colors, giving them an edgy, gross-out quality that dovetails nicely with the Creepy Freaks CMG.

WizKids is also backing Creepy Freaks with a TV ad campaign that runs from Monday, September 29 through Friday, October 31.  The ads will run on the ABC Family Network, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and the Kids WB -- all venues where WizKids will be able to reach the younger audience the company has targeted with the Creepy Freaks CMG.
